Registration, Scheduling and Completing Volunteer Opportunities

How do I get started?

Signup and register to join the program from the homepage at www.virginmobilefreeip.com. Supply all the necessary information then select one of many Volunteer Opportunities available from the list of projects within your designated market.

How old do I have to be?

Participants must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18 years old you must have your parent or guardian fill out and sign the parental consent form, and you must bring it with you to the volunteer opportunity.

Click Here to download the Parental Consent Form. Note: All volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years old to participate. Volunteers younger than 18 are required to bring a parental consent form.

How do I register for Volunteer Opportunities?

After completing the registration process, you will be able to view Volunteer Opportunities. Select the one that interests you.

What are points?

Points are the value system used for redeeming points. All FREE.I,P. volunteer opportunities equal 800 points- the number of points needed to earn a ticket. Points can be redeemed via the 'My Account' section on the 'Rewards' page.

How do I make a change to my schedule?

If you are no longer able to attend a volunteer opportunity you've signed up for, please remove yourself from the event to allow others the chance to participate. You can remove yourself by clicking the 'Remove' button below any of the events displayed in the 'My Schedule' section of your profile page.

What are Kits and how do I assemble them?

Some participating nonprofit organizations are asking volunteers to submit kits of needed items to qualify for a reward. These may be a school supply kit, toiletry kit, or a specific kit to include a list of items needed by the organization for the individuals they serve. Within the Opportunity Information Page, you will find the list of items the organization needs you to include in each kit, and how many kits you need to drop-off in order to qualify for a ticket.

Can I have someone drop off a service kit for me?

No. You need to be present with a valid I.D. and fill in the Sign In Sheet.

Can I volunteer for more than one opportunity for the same prize?

No. Each volunteer can only sign up and complete one posting per reward prize (i.e., one volunteer for one Free Fest ticket).

I’ve redeemed my points and earned my ticket. How do I get my Virgin Mobile Free Fest ticket?

All FREE.I.P. volunteer tickets will be claimed onsite via Will Call. No tickets will be mailed or sent in advance. An email with specific details on picking up your ticket at Merriweather Post Pavilion will be sent to verified volunteers.
